Police report

Officers worked on reports, conducted follow-up investigations and traffic stops, provided vehicle identification number inspections, and completed maintenance on vehicles.

Sept. 4: Officers responded to a complaint of kids playing in the roadway, recovered stolen property, responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint and responded to a fight.

Sept. 5: Officers met with an individual regarding a child custody dispute and responded to a domestic dispute.

Sept. 6: Officers patrolled school zones, responded to a dog at large, took a theft report, assisted Sheriff’s Deputies with cows out, and checked on a suspicious vehicle complaint.

Sept. 7: Officers patrolled school zones, met with an attorney regarding cases, took a report of criminal trespass, responded to OASIS for an out-of-control student, and responded to a non-injury accident. A skunk complaint was checked. Officers checked on a reckless driving complaint.

Sept. 8: Officers patrolled school zones, checked on a report of a pit-bull living in the city limits, checked a reckless driving complaint, responded to a domestic dispute, attended Pipeline training, and checked streetlights.

Sept. 9: Officers patrolled school zones, responded to OASIS for an out-of-control student, and took a report of harassment. Officers also responded to a noise complaint and took a report of battery.

Sept. 10: Officers responded to a barking dog complaint, met with an individual regarding a civil dispute, and responded to a business alarm.

Sept. 11: Officers responded to a civil dispute, responded to a domestic dispute resulting in an arrest, and provided backup for Hillsboro Police.

Sept. 12: Officers patrolled school zones, took a theft report, responded to a non-injury accident, worked on junk vehicle complaints, responded to a fire call, and checked a suspicious vehicle complaint.

Sept. 13: Officers patrolled school zones, met with an attorney regarding cases, responded to a door-to-door salesman complaint, worked on a community event, returned found property to the owner, conducted firearms training, took a harassment complaint, and served an arrest warrant.

Sept. 14: Officers patrolled school zones, assisted Sheriff’s Deputies with traffic control, and responded to a dog at large complaint.

Thursday: Officers patrolled school zones and met with a citizen regarding a civil dispute.

Friday: Officers patrolled school zones, took a theft report, checked a suspicious vehicle complaint, responded to a horse on the roadway, responded to a reckless driving complaint, assisted EMS with a transport, responded to a domestic dispute, and took a runaway report.

Saturday: Officers checked a parking complaint, conducted traffic control, picked up a dog at-large, responded to a criminal trespass complaint, responded to suspicious activity at an abandoned house, and responded to report of a suicidal person with a gun.

Officers issued 11 warnings and made three arrests.
