Dec. 24: Officers found a vehicle in the cemetery with two males inside at 11:30 p.m.; K9 officer alerted with smell of marijuana; suspect was arrested on probation violation after a joint was found.

Dec. 26: Officers responded to a domestic disturbance.

Dec. 27: Officers found full cans of beer in the cemetery. Residence with open door checked; officers received no answer from residents but found lots of cats around and in a van.

Dec. 28: A report of an abandoned vehicle was taken. A report of criminal trespass was taken.

Dec. 29: A report of criminal damage to property was taken. Officers spoke with two drivers about a road rage incident. Officers responded to a possible suicide attempt by overdose; subject was taken to the hospital by ambulance but was not found to have taken any medication but was heavily inebriated.

Jan. 1: Officers took a runaway case report.

Jan. 3: Officers assisted with a reckless driving complaint. Officers investigated a reckless driving complaint. Officers assisted Marion County Sheriff with criminal threat case, trying to locate suspect.

Jan. 4: Officers assisted Dickenson County Sheriff with the recovery of stolen property. Traffic control was provided after two large hay bales dropped on Main Street; a warning was issued for an unsecured load. A tree stump was reported in the middle of Main Street. A reckless driving complaint was taken.

Jan. 6: Officers took a report of disorderly conduct at Country Lakes Café. A report of stalking and harassment was taken.
