Marion Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will be taking unwanted prescription drugs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 30 at the Marion Police Department.

This will be the 11th opportunity in six years for Marion to help prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous, expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.

DEA can accept pills or patches, but not liquids, needles, or sharps.
