Police report

Officers worked on reports, conducted follow-up investigations and traffic stops, provided vehicle identification number inspections, and completed maintenance on vehicles.

Aug. 7: Officers responded to a noise complaint and checked on a reckless driving complaint.

Aug. 8: Officers responded to a parking complaint, took a traffic complaint, attempted to serve an arrest warrant, responded to a dog at-large, took a harassment complaint, and responded to a possible fight.

Aug. 9: Officers took a vandalism report at the park, ran radar on Main Street, responded to a theft complaint, took a harassment complaint, and responded to a dog at-large complaint.

Aug. 10: A complaint of criminal threat was reported. A person complained about a barking dog. Officers assisted an individual with directions, took a parking complaint, and assisted a sheriff’s deputy with a case.

Aug. 11: Officers conducted a civil standby and provided a funeral escort. A repo company was assisted with locating an address. Officers responded to a report of a dog at-large, took a parking complaint, responded to an underage drinking party, responded to a barking dog complaint, responded to a non-injury accident, and assisted with some cows out.

Aug. 12: A complaint of harassment was filed. Officers attempted to serve civil process, responded to a business alarm, and responded to a complaint of a barking dog.

Aug. 13: Officers conducted traffic control for the “Run for Your Momma” race, met with a citizen regarding a civil matter, and responded to a complaint of dog at-large. EMS was assisted with a call. Officers checked on an abandoned vehicle, and took a report of theft.

Aug. 14: Officers responded to a domestic dispute resulting in an arrest, conducted a transport, responded to a noise complaint, and responded to a barking dog complaint.

Aug. 15: A funeral escort was provided. Officers responded to a non-injury accident, met with a citizen regarding a civil matter, responded to an unattended death and met with a citizen regarding a child custody matter.

Aug. 16: A business door was found open. Officers responded to a complaint of dog at-large, and took a theft report.

Aug. 17: Officers patrolled school zones, met with an attorney regarding cases, took a reckless driving complaint, took a phone harassment report, and responded to a fight at the VFW.

Thursday: Officers patrolled school zones, took a complain of a vicious dog, provided traffic control for LifeTeam, took an animal cruelty complaint, and responded to a domestic dispute resulting in an arrest.

Friday: School zones were patrolled. Officers conducted firearms training, responded to OASIS for an out-of-control student, provided a program for the Chamber of Commerce, and responded to a non-injury accident. Equipment maintenance was conducted. Officers responded to a hit and run accident, met with a citizen regarding suspicious activity, and responded to a domestic dispute.

Saturday: Officers met with a citizen regarding a civil matter, responded to a sick animal complaint, conducted a welfare check, assisted HVCO with follow up investigations, met with a citizen regarding an animal endangerment complaint, and served civil process.

Officers issued 10 warnings and made seven arrests.
