Dec. 17: School zones were patrolled. VIN inspections were conducted. Assistance was provided to a citizen in finding their dog. An attempt was made to serve an arrest warrant. Response was given to an unattended death. An arrest warrant was served. Traffic stops were made.

Dec. 18: School zones were patrolled. EMS received assistance with a call. VIN inspections were provided. Officers participated in training. Follow-up investigations were conducted. Response was given to a possible suicidal person. Street lights were checked.

Dec. 19: School zones were patrolled. Two dogs were picked up for running at-large. VIN inspections were provided. A civil standby was conducted. Response was given to a driving complaint. An open business door was located. Response was given to an intoxicated person causing a disturbance. Traffic stops were made. An arrest warrant was served. A bicycle was reported stolen.

Dec. 20: Follow-up investigations were conducted. Breath tests were provided at a Marion High School dance. Response was given to a car alarm at September Apartments. Officers worked on reports and conducted traffic stops.

Dec. 21: A concerned business owner met with an officer. A theft was reported. Response was given to a 911 hang-up. Officers worked on reports and conducted follow-up investigations.

Dec. 22: School zones were patrolled. Officers worked on reports and conducted VIN inspections. EMS received assistance with a call. Response was given to a noise complaint. A citizen was notified of a possible water leak.

Dec. 23: School zones were patrolled. VIN inspections were provided. Officers worked on investigations, reports, provided training to outside agencies, attended a meeting, and conducted traffic stops. Two dogs were picked up for running at-large.

Dec. 24: Officers worked on reports and conducted VIN inspections. A report was made of a man in a red suit on several rooftops in town but no one was located.

Dec. 25: Response was given to a possible suicidal person; everything was OK.

Dec. 26: VIN inspections were provided. Officers worked on reports and ran radar. Assistance was provided to EMS with a call. Traffic stops were made. A local business received assistance. Investigations were conducted.

Dec. 27: Response was given to a domestic dispute. Officers worked on reports and conducted traffic stops and VIN inspections. A non-injury accident was investigated.

Officers issued six warnings and four notices to appear, and made two arrests.
