Police REport

From Dec. 25 through Jan. 7 officers worked on reports, conducted follow-up investigations, returned phone calls, conducted traffic stops, and patrolled school zones.

Dec. 25: Officers responded to a verbal disturbance. Officers responded to a report of someone who was being threatened. A noise complaint was checked.

Dec. 26: Phone calls were returned to the County Attorney Susan Robson. A report of criminal damage to property was taken. A report of debris in a roadway was checked.

Dec. 27: A report of reckless driving in the parking lot next to the Sports and Aquatic Center was checked. Officers took a report of phone harassment. Officers responded to a fight in progress. Officers assisted Marion County Emergency Medical Services on two occasions.

Dec. 28: A report of criminal damage to property was taken at Marion High School. Officers responded to a possible suicide attempt. A report of an intruder was taken. Officers attended municipal court. Two misdemeanor warrants were served. A theft report was taken.

Dec. 29: Civil process papers were served. Officers conducted a civil standby. Officers responded to a domestic disturbance.

Dec. 30: A report of telephone harassment was taken. Officers responded to a dog at large. Officers spoke with citizens in reference to cases.

Dec. 31: Officers responded to a non-injury accident. Officers responded to a possible fire.

Jan. 1: A non-injury accident was worked. Officers assisted Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy with a hit and run investigation. Officers responded to a burglary alarm. Officers responded to a verbal altercation.

Jan. 2: A report of an unwanted person on private property was checked. A theft report was taken. Officers met with a concerned citizen. Officers spoke with a dog owner who lost his or her dog.

Jan. 3: A stalking report was taken.

Jan. 4: Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Officers did routine patrols.

Jan. 5: Officers responded to a dog at large. A civil process was served. A stranded motorist was assisted. Officers conducted vehicle maintenance.

Jan. 6: Officers responded to a dog at large. Officers responded to a possible break in. A report of suspicious activity was taken. A theft report was taken. Officers spoke with Robson for cases. Officers responded to a domestic dispute.

Jan. 7: Officers spoke with residents about a case. A stranded pedestrian was assisted. Vehicle maintenance was performed. Officers observed suspicious activity; everything was O.K.

Eight warnings and one arrest were issued.
