Marion Senior Center correspondent

Seniors observed National Fork Day on Oct. 29 at the center. They learned the history of forks, sang a fork song, and had forks on display.

Shirley Bowers brought a quilt into the center to display. Norine Holtsclaw brought in artwork to display on the easel.

Janet Bryant and Judy Dannenfelser arrived in-costume Oct. 30 at the center.

Nov. 2 was Men Make Dinner Day. There was no takeout or barbecue allowed.

Rowena Olsen came back to the center after a four-month medical leave.

Marion County Sheriff Rob Craft spoke to the seniors Nov. 4. He presented information about the county jail and the drug situation in the county.

Bennie Holtsclaw will give a presentation Nov. 18 at the center.
