Marion Senior Center used special placemats Barbara Abbott made Sept. 6 for Read a Book Day. The placemats had cut outs of red apples with A+ on them.
Lenora Graham, a meal deliverer from Florence, brought treats Sept. 7 to celebrate her 91st birthday.
Marion County Senior Citizens will have its annual meeting at Marion Senior Center on Oct. 20. The meal is $5 and reservations are required.
Merle Ecklund provided accordion music on Sept. 7.
Senior Center Day is Sept. 21. Marion County Department of Aging coordinator Gayla Ratzlaff will present information on prescription drug programs available.
