Marion Senior Center correspondent

Fred Puttroff has a new grandson and he showed his photo on the senior center computer.

Everybody was a Kansas State University fan March 26 when we used napkins with the Wildcats logo. There were two K-State door prizes given away and won by Jerry Harp and Luella Popp.

A crew came in March 29 and assembled the Marion County Senior Citizen newsletter. They included Ivanlee and Mary Ann Timm, Norma Woerz, Evelyn Jewett, Harvey Wells, Ernie Lespagnard, Jane Makovec, Nora Richter, Elsie Reiswig, Sue Clough, Beulah Weigart, Lanell Hett, and Gayla Ratzlaff.

Keith Holtsclaw brought artwork to display on the center’s easel.

A set of embroidered tea towels with chocolate designs are on display and for sale.

Norine Holtsclaw brought a vase of daffodils.

Marilyn Geis announced March 31 that the center had received partial funding to install automatic openers on the front doors of the center

Donna Becker of Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice presented “Reflections on Holy Week.”

Nancy Marr will talk April 14 about a stone building she wants to restore.
