Marion Senior Center correspondent

Birthdays celebrated at the center last week were Vernie Beaston, June 18, and Mary Hett, June 21.

Wilma Gilmer brought rhubarb for the seniors.

The Wii game system was set up June 17 and is being used.

A quilt being worked on started as an educational process. The owner asked to watch it being worked on. Evelyn Jewett, Sue Clough, and Shirley Bowers got the process going.

Marge Tajchman from St. Luke Hospital gave a presentation as a certified mastectomy fitter.

The center will be closed Monday due to the July 4 holiday.

July 7 will be Red Hat Day. Connie Geier will give a presentation and official Red Hat Society members have been invited to the center and all other seniors are encouraged to find and wear a red hat also.
