Senior center patrons got a surprise March 8 when they woke up to a dusting of snow and colder weather.
Virginia Downing provided treats on March 2 to celebrate her February birthday. There was a drawing for a big candy bar using the numbered sign-in sheet for the day, and Wanda Hamm won.
Marilyn Geis was excited about a book she read about Rin Tin Tin, and she gave a short overview of the book.
Dick Varenhorst stopped by to update patrons on the Marion military veterans pictorial book he is working on.
Shirley Bowers provided a program on March 7, playing old favorites on the piano.
Senior Center Day will be March 21.

Thursday — Lasagna, carrots, garlic bread, applesauce.
Friday — Breaded shrimp, alternative chicken nuggets, scalloped potatoes, coleslaw, bread, apricots.
Monday — Polish sausage, parslied potatoes, peas, bread, peaches.
Tuesday — Breaded pork chop, potato salad, Harvard beets, bread, pears.
March 21 — Turkey a la king, boiled potato, stewed tomato, biscuit, fruit cup.
