Marion County Sheriff Rob Craft spoke to Marion County Senior Citizens board members Aug. 17 at Marion Senior Center. He told them how to keep their world safe and secure.
Jean Pierce, John Lynch, and Estelle McCarty brought birthday treats on Aug. 20, 21, and 22. Several Hilltop Manor residents came for lunch and shared Estelle’s birthday celebration.
Residents learned about fish farming from Colleen Hajek on Aug. 22. She and her husband, Mark, operate a fish farm southwest of Marion.
The senior center will be closed Monday for labor day. Karen Williams will present a program Sept. 5 on “I don’t know where to start” exercises.
