Marion Senior Center hosted an exciting craft corner experience on Nov. 8 when several people came in from Missouri and purchased 10 sets of hand embroidered tea towels. The center is waiting for a new shipment of tea towels.

The center had treats three consecutive days. Leland Albrecht celebrated his birthday on Nov. 5, Phyllis Soyez on Nov. 6, and Mary Costello celebrated the reelection of Barak Obama on Nov. 7.

Jeff Reynolds, occupational therapist for St. Luke Hospital, gave the program on Nov. 7. He talked about arthritis and ways to protect one’s body.

A sign-up program for leaf raking conducted by Marion High School students will be available Saturday.

The center will celebrate Mickey Mouse’s birthday on Monday.

The center will have its traditional Thanksgiving meal on Nov. 21. Patrons are advised to ignore the printed menu for that day.
