The seniors have started singing one Christmas carol each day before lunch. Shirley Bowers has a list of favorites and accompanies the singing.
Clayton Hamm provided ice cream cups for his Dec. 3 birthday. He also gave away turnips.
The Marion Senior Center menu can be found on local channel 20, and in the Marion County Record, the Marion Post Office, or Carlson’s Grocery.
Senior Center Day will be Dec. 19. The Marion High School singers will perform after lunch.

Thursday — Pinto beans and ham, boiled potatoes, peas and carrots, cornbread, apricots.
Friday — Chicken enchiladas, refried beans, mixed fruit.
Monday — Minestrone soup, blushing apples, cornbread.
Tuesday — Chicken and noodles, peas, fruit cocktail, cookie, whole-wheat roll.
Dec. 19 — Meatloaf, boiled potatoes and gravy, broccoli, fruit salad.
