The van and a private car took 16 seniors Dec. 13 to the Crown Uptown Dinner Theater in Wichita to see “White Christmas.” Those who attended were Joyce Jackson, Mary Costello, Bettie Batt, Estelle McCarty, Wilma Nice, Jackie Hett, Carolyn Woerz, Lynne Watts, Jerry Higgins, Connie Woerz, Sue Clough, Janet Bryant, Rhonda Brenzikofer, and Mary Olson. Shirley Moore drove the van.

Wanda Hamm celebrated her birthday by bringing in decorated cookies.

On Dec. 12, the center had an old-fashioned hymn sing, with Sue Clough as song leader and Shirley Bowers as pianist.

The center will be closed Christmas Day. Dec. 26 will be a show-and-tell day. It is suggested that seniors bring the best gift, the strangest gift, or the why-did-you-get-me-this gift they got for Christmas.
