Marion Senior Center plans Elvis celebration

Marion Senior Center will celebrate Elvis Presley’s birthday at 7 p.m. Jan. 6. He was born almost 77 years ago, on Jan. 8, 1935.

The senior center will play the King’s music all day, and local fans will have Elvis memorabilia on display. One of his many movies will be screened after lunch.

Elvis impersonator Marc Baker of Wichita will perform at 7 p.m. There is no charge, but donations will be accepted to help cover the cost of the entertainment.
