Many seniors attended the 49th annual Senior Citizens of Marion
County meeting Oct. 15 at the Hillsboro Senior Center. Attending from the Marion Senior Center were Jerry Kline, Estelle McCarty, Janet Bryant, Shirley Bowers, Shirley Moore, Sue Clough, Mary Hett, Virginia Downing, Leonard Klassen, Marlene Andus, and Wilma Gilmer. Leonard Klassen was elected to the county board.
Kayley Waner helped in the dining room Oct. 16 at the center.
The center welcomed Jane Gooding as a new volunteer in the dining room. She started Oct. 20.
Don and Betty Fruechting gave a presentation Oct. 21 about their volunteer work in mission trips.
Sheriff Rob Craft will give a presentation Nov. 4 at the center.
