The Marion softball team finished 2-18 last season, but that team was filled with inexperience, lacking a single senior.

The left side of the Warrior infield should be secure with seniors Brooke Johnson and Tiffany Christensen at shortstop and third base respectively.

Senior Emily Rogers is the Warriors top catcher.

Senior Ann Laurin and junior Jordan Harper will patrol the Marion outfield.

First baseman and top hitter Shelby Percel also returns for her junior season.

Junior Alex Cain returns as the team’s ace pitcher.

Cain, Percel, Johnson, and Sarah Guetersloh all hit over .300 last year.

The team is lead by Head Coach Jill Hudson.

The Lady Warriors will play at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Sterling.
