Mary Ann Duerksen, 93, of Lehigh, died Oct. 9 at The Cedars in McPherson.

She was born April 23, 1918, in Lehigh to John W. and Sara (Loewen) Ewert. She was a homemaker.

She married Roland K. Duerksen on May 14, 1942, in Lehigh. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons, Dennis of Fort Lupton, Colo., and Delmar of McPherson; a daughter, Florette Decker of Loveland, Colo.; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. today at First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro, officiated by Pastor Kathy Neufeld Dunn. The family received guests Tuesday.

Burial will be at Lehigh Mennonite Cemetery, rural Lehigh.

Memorials have been established with Mennonite Central Committee and Hospice Care of Kansas.
