Mary Herbert

Former Peabody resident Mary L. Herbert, 90, of Newton, died Feb. 2, at Kansas Christian Home, Newton.

Born Dec. 3, 1919, in Caddo, Texas, to Ortha L. and Olive M. (Bridges) Britt, she was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son, Philip Peterson of Lindsborg; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Marquette Cemetery, Marquette.
