Mary Jane Herbel, 72, died Sunday in Hillsboro.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church, Hillsboro. Family will receive guests from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.

She was born Jan. 17, 1944, to Samuel and Rachel (Winter) Keller in Cedar Point. She married Ron Herbel July 8, 1960, in Hillsboro.

She is survived by husband, Ron, of Hillsboro; sons, Rick Herbel of Newton, and Randy Herbel of Ellsworth; daughters, Diana Howell of Hillsboro, Janet Kado of Sublette, and Judy Hollingshead of Ellis; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorials gifts may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
