Matilda Foth

Matilda Foth, 94, died Oct. 9 at Salem Home in Hillsboro. She was born June 7, 1919, to Peter and Eva (Schmidt) Kasper of rural Hillsboro.

She is survived by three sons, Clifford Foth of Rogers, Ark., Leroy Foth of Archbold, Ohio, and Gary Foth of McPherson; and numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Foth, in 1998; a son, Marvin Foth; two daughters, Janice Humphries and Lola Jack; a brother, Bernard Kasper; and a sister, Alga Janzen.

A celebration of life service was Saturday at First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro, officiated by pastor Susan Jantzen.

A memorial fund has been established with First Mennonite Church.
