At the 1A state golf tournament Monday at Emporia, Adam Matz of Centre High School finished 11th among 91 competitors.

Matz scored 83. The top scorer, Joey Morrisey of Pleasanton, scored 73.

Tyler Klenda withdrew from competition because of a shoulder injury.

The top 10 teams were Ashland, Olpe, Pleasanton, Pretty Prairie, Montezuma-South Gray, St. John-Hudson, Linn, Goessel, Tribune-Greeley County, and Hoxie.
