Memorial Day services set in Pilsen
Services for Memorial Day will be at 9:30 a.m. May 26 at Pilsen Cemetery.
In case of inclement weather, services will be held at the community center.
Military honors will be by Gilbert Poppe of Post No. 347 of the American Legion in Lincolnville.
Deanna Klenda will lead guests in the Pledge of Allegiance and American Creed. The Father Kapaun Prayer will be led by L. Edward Davies.
The veterans honor roll will be cited by William Benda, and Deanna Klenda will lay a wreath in honor of P.O.W. and M.I.A. solders.
A rifle salute and Taps will be sung with trumpet played by Tabitha Oborny.
