Mergen, Barlow wedding set for July

Doug and Susan Mergen of Salina, Cecilia Barlow-Rogers of Abilene, and Jim Barlow of Abilene announce the approaching marriage of their children, Kate Mergen and Christopher Barlow of Marion.

A granddaughter of Mary Mergen of Salina, and Alvin Witwer of Lenexa, the bride-to-be is a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and Fort Hays State University. She is a Speech-Language Pathologist at Coronado Elementary School in Salina.

The groom-elect, grandson of Kenneth and Kathryn Houlton of Abilene, is a graduate of Abilene High School and Fort Hays State University. He is the Band Director for USD 408 in Marion.

The couple plan to wed July 13 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Salina.
