Nick Meyer wins trip to leadership camp

Nick Meyer, a junior at Marion High School, has been selected by Flint Hills Rural Electric Cooperative to attend a four-state Cooperative Youth Leadership Camp.

It will be held in July at Steamboat Springs, Colo.

Meyer was one of two winners of the 2013 Cooperative Youth Leadership Competition on Feb. 18.

The leadership camp will include representatives from Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Wyoming.

Attendees will learn about rural electrification, cooperatives, energy problems, and interpersonal communication.
