MMS boys ends season, prepare for tournament

With three games this past week, all Marion Middle School boys’ basketball teams stayed busy.

The A-team went 1-2 against Lyons, Reno Valley, and Hoisington, to finish the regular season at 6-6.

The B-team won all three games to end 10-2, and the C-team was 2-1 to finish 6-3 during the year.

The A-team will compete in the Mid-Central Activities Association tournament beginning Thursday with a match-up against Reno Valley.

The Wildcats ended a five-game losing streak Thursday with a 39-21 victory against Reno Valley.

A victory in the first round will move the team to the second round this weekend.
