Former Lincolnville residents Larry and Kelly (Jirak) Montgomery of Lindsborg announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Montgomery, to Nathan Mansfield, son of Curtis and Tammy Mansfield and Kristy and Tony Studt, all of Concordia.

Grandmothers of the bride-elect are Marilyn Montgomery and Marguerite Jirak, both of Lincolnville.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Smoky Valley High School and attended Cloud County Community College. She is pursuing a government position.

Her fiancé graduated from Concordia High School in 2006 and attended Kansas State University. He has joined the U.S. Air Force and is pursuing a degree in business management.

A civil wedding ceremony will be June 4, before the couple moves to a new duty station in North Carolina. A formal wedding ceremony is planned Oct. 24 in Salina.
