The youth of Morning Star Church recently traveled to Kansas City and Topeka, where they distributed gifts in children’s homes and hospitals as their Christmas project.

Dinner guests at the Ransom Wiebe home Dec. 14 were Jason and Sheri Wiebe and family, Mark and Kris Wiebe and Luke, Merlin and Karletta Wiebe, Jasper and Joni Zeiset, Kayla Wiebe, Katie Schmidt, and Rebecca Peachy. They celebrated the December birthdays of Ransom, Luke, and Matthew.

Wendell and Linda Wedel were dinner guests of Mike Ryss on Dec. 14 at a Hillsboro restaurant.

Harry and Sheryle Rhodes recently entertained Heath and Tannis Dirks and Jackson, Rustin and Lydia Dirks and family, and Titus and Chelsea Koehn.

Guests of Marcel and Wendy Unruh on Dec. 10 were Roy and Nadine Davis, Tim Davis, and Clayton and Betty Wiebe. They honored Tim for his recent birthday.

Sarah Unruh graduated from Kansas State University on Dec. 13 with a degree in accounting. Family members who attended were Ron and Dora Unruh, Mark and Barb Unruh, Brenda Enns, Josh and Katelin Hendricks, Matt Hiebert, Nathan Unruh, and Braidyn Rucker. All enjoyed lunch together in a Manhattan café.

On Dec. 11, Wendell and Linda Wedel took their employees to supper in Salina as a Christmas get-together.

Larry and Wanda Koehn hosted a family birthday supper Dec. 8. Guests were Travis and Sharon Koehn and family, Amy Koehn, Tim and Shelia Koehn and family, Dalton and Lorna Wiebe and family, and Titus and Chelsea Koehn. They celebrated Danielle Koehn’s second birthday and Tyleigh Koehn’s first birthday.
