Myron Buller

Myron Lloyd Buller, 75, died Dec. 2 at his home northwest of Houston, Texas, after a prolonged illness. He was born Feb. 2, 1938, in Goessel, the youngest of nine children of Lydia F. Schmidt Buller and David D. Buller.

He grew up in Peabody and graduated from Peabody High School in 1958. He received a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Bethel College in 1961 and a master’s degree from Fort Hays State University.

He played football at Bethel and continued his involvement in the sport as a teacher and football coach in Lamar, Colo.

He married Claudia McCanless and adopted her two children, John and Halli. A daughter, Kristi Ann, was born in 1975. The family moved to Rock Springs, Wyo., in 1977. He worked for Stansbury Coal and Fairmont Supply Co. He retired in 1993 and began building a cabin near Daniel, Wyo.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Hilda Buller Regier; and a brother, Raymond Delmar Buller.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Anne of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Kristi Ann Buller and Halli Buller Riskus, both of Rock Springs; a son, John Buller of Rock Springs; four brothers, Harold, Wesley, Clarence, and Arlo; two sisters, Elizabeth and Pearl; and four grandchildren.

He was cremated. The family will have a private memorial ceremony.
