Neo-Century meets at Hilltop Manor

Neo-Century Club met at Hilltop Manor on Nov. 7.

Suzanne Thole, president, called the meeting to order with 16 members present.

Minutes of the October meeting were read and approved by LaVaughn Klose, secretary.

Elaine Morse gave the treasurer’s report.

Pearl Helmer and Valera Morgan thanked members for carnations they received while in the hospital.

A discussion was held on a community project. A motion was approved to donate money members would spend on their heart sisters to the city for a roof over the stage at the park. Members will bring a $5 gift for a Christmas grab bag.

Rachel Collett gave a talk about her new CB Baked Goods bakery and gave each member a bag of cookies.

Hostesses Bea Kelsey and Virginia Heerey served pumpkin dessert.
