Nettie Jane Hiebert, 83, of Hillsboro, died Oct. 2 in Hillsboro.

Born July 14, 1928, at Pawnee Rock, to David and Elizabeth (Unruh) Jantz, she was a housekeeper.

She married Pete B. Hiebert on Dec. 19, 1950, in rural Hillsboro. He died in 1991.

She was a member of First Mennonite Church, Hillsboro.

Survivors include a son, Thomas of Goessel; a brother, Arthur Jantz of Hillsboro; and a grandson.

Services were 2 p.m. today at First Mennonite Church of Hillsboro with the Rev. Marvin Zehr officiating.

Burial was in Haven of Rest Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.

A memorial fund has been established with Parkside Homes of Hillsboro.
