To the editor:

We began our subscription with the Marion County Record three months before we moved to Marion in 1999. We still are subscribers although we have moved back to our family in Washington State three months ago. However, there’s a big difference in those three months.

We knew only a few people in Marion in October 1999. However, now we read about people and places very familiar to us. In past issues, we read about Gene Enos, Anita Weber, and Les Broadstreet.

Marion was our home for 10.5 years and we left with many good memories.

We continue to have contact with the Marion community and the Record helps facilitate those connections.

We send our thanks, our greetings, and our promise to continue reading every page in your very special newspaper.
