Kenneth and Margie Nienstedt of Marion announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their son, Theron Dean Nienstedt of Marion to Alicia June Russell of Salem, Ore.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Dorothy Jean Russell and Gary Russell of Salem, Ore. She is a graduate of Nestucca Union High School. She is project coordinator for a graphic design company.

Her fiancé is a graduate of Marion High School and has an associates degree in general studies from Highland Community College. He is a truck driver for Mamo Transportation, Osceola, Ind.
