Judy Noller of Marion and Kathy Kopfman of Burlington won a two-woman, nine-hole scramble Thursday at Marion Country Club.
Noller and Kopfman scored 33 to lead the championship flight. Judy Patton and Laverne Soetebier of Emporia were second with 40. Vicki Manuel and Rita Brennan of Hillsboro were third with 41.
In first flight, Lisa Hemphill and Marcia Muthart of Marion won with a score of 45, winning a tie-breaker over Jami Williams and Sondra Mayfield of Marion. Raye Dirks and Brenda Kimberly of Hillsboro were third with 46.
Fourteen teams participated. Additional golfers were from Andover, Augusta, McPherson, and Wichita. A social hour and dinner followed the tournament.
Noller had the longest drive. Kopfman was closest to the pin (8 feet 2½ inches). Sandy Black of Marion was closest to the line, and Misty Hett of Marion had the longest putt (13 feet 4 inches).
