These criminal offenses were reported by Marion County law enforcement agencies:

Criminal damage

A property owner reported that a five-wire barbed wire fence had been driven through and a fence post bent in the 1400 block of 60th Road in Peabody some time between 8 a.m. July 25 and 11 a.m. July 27. The damage was estimated at $150.

A resident in the 2200 block of 310th Road near Lost Springs reported that a mailbox valued at $100 was destroyed between 10 p.m. July 27 and 4:30 p.m. July 28.

Unknown persons damaged a portable toilet at the Lincolnville baseball complex at 600 N. Vista in Lincolnville between 8 p.m. July 23 and 11:45 a.m. July 24. The unit appeared to have had something wrapped around it and it appeared a vehicle tried to pull it. The portable toilet, valued at $215, was destroyed and left on its side.

Trespass

Twilla Baker, of Lincolnville, reported July 28 that suspects have entered her barn several times in the past two weeks and turned on a light. Items have been moved around but nothing has been stolen.

Theft

A resident of Burdick used his debit card at a convenience store in Lincolnville and left it on the counter. A suspect found the card and used it to purchase $73 of gasoline in Lincolnville between 11 p.m. July 22 and 11 a.m. July 27.

Burglary

Suspects entered a Hillsboro resident’s property in the 2200 block of Kanza Road without permission and took two TVs, a jar of change, and a chain saw some time between 4 p.m. July 28 and 4 p.m. July 29. The items were valued at $2,300.
