April 19: There was a report of an unlawful use of a pellet gun in the 100 block of S. Lincoln St., and a dog complaint in the 400 block of W. Grand St.
April 20: A theft at Ampride that involved a person drinking part of a Gatorade and then putting it back in the cooler without paying for it was reported, but the proprietors did not want to pursue criminal charges.
A person reported that a registered sex offender had violated their terms. However, when police investigated they found that there had been no violation.
A report of a residential fire at Cedar and Grand Sts. was determined to be a couch smoldering and not a structural fire.
Police began investigating a report of sexual battery.
April 21: Investigating several 911 disconnects, police discovered that the person had a 911-only phone and was calling to get a ride from the 400 block of W B St. to an appointment. There was a noise complaint in the 100 block of S. Birch St.
April 22: A landlord and a tenant had a dispute in the 400 block of N. Ash St. There was a vehicle noise complaint on Floral Dr., and a dog complaint at D and Ash Sts.
Thursday: Police fingerprinted a person for employment and assisted with a vehicle accident on Indigo Rd.
Friday: An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 300 block of S. Date St., and there was a report of a reckless driver in the 400 block of N. Ash St.
Saturday: A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 500 block of W. Grand St., a reckless driver was reported on US-56, and a motorist reported being locked out of their vehicle.

Multiple offenses
A motorist was stopped for speeding (80 in a 65 mph zone) at 7:07 p.m. Friday in the 2000 block of US-56 near Marion. Assistant Chief Clinton Jeffrey reported the motorist was driving on a suspended license. Upon speaking with the driver, Jeffrey said he discovered a marijuana pipe. The motorist was arrested on charges of possession of a hallucinogenic drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license, and exceeding the maximum speed limit.
Trespassing, damage to property
A plate glass window on the front of TC’s What Not Shop, valued at $500, was reported damaged at 7 p.m. on April 21. Officer Duane McCarty said the hole appeared to have been created with a BB fired from a BB gun. The offender also appeared to have trespassed in order to disturb the placement of sale items in front of the store, McCarty said.
Theft
John Antoszky, 48, of Marion, reported the theft of Kansas license plates, valued at $55, from his trailer at approximately 3 p.m. Thursday while it was parked in the 400 block of N. Roosevelt St.
PEABODy
April 22: Police responded to a battery incident. Charges are forthcoming for battery and criminal trespass. Police opened two cases of health and safety violations at 411 N. Maple St. and 501 E. Second St.
Thurs.: Officers completed a ride-along application.
Fri.: Robert Potts, Peabody, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license, no insurance, and an inoperable tag light.
Sat. : Michael Bergman, Peabody was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license, a broken windshield, and in violation of restrictions. Bryce Baker was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
