According to offense reports released this past week:

SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Joel Hays, 2630 US-50, Florence, reported criminal damage to his property at 5:30 p.m. May 30. The damage was without consent value o $1000 to $25,000.

Suzan Stroup, Florence, reported that the Florence Post Office, 302 Main St, received criminal damage to its property at 12:31 a.m. on June 17. An 8x8 window had received $1,500 damage to it.

Marion

Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute

Jordan Bryan, 18, of Eureka, Missouri, was arrested for possession of more than three pounds of marijuana, marijuana oil, paraphernalia, and cash, with a combined value of $15,050, at 1:33 p.m. June 14 east of Marion on K-150.

Assistant chief Clinton Jeffrey allegedly stopped Bryan for driving 78 in a 65 mph zone. However, he reportedly noted an overwhelming smell of marijuana coming from Bryan’s red 2014 Ford Mustang.

Bryan faces charges of possession of controlled substance with intent to distribute, no drug stamp, and speeding.

Theft

An unknown individual stole a Genesis bicycle, valued at $220, after entering a home in the 700 block of N. Roosevelt St. between June 2 and June 14.

Possession of methamphetamine

A woman was arrested at 1:30 p.m. May 24 for possession of a one-gram pill of methamphetamine, valued at $5, and interference with a law enforcement officer in the 900 block of N. Roosevelt St.

Officer Mike Stone reported the woman was discovered trespassing at a business. He said she gave false information, and stated that she was a wanted individual.

Stone searched her and found meth. His report indicated she is also under supervision from community corrections. Police provided no further information.
