Battery

Eddie Eaves, 28, of Hillsboro, was arrested on charges of domestic battery after grabbing a 22-year-old Hillsboro woman at 10:10 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 100 block of S. Date St.

Endangering a child

Charges are pending against a 21-year-old Wichita man and a 21-year-old Andover woman after they allegedly attacked a 20-year-old Hillsboro woman at 11:30 p.m. July 5 in the 700 block of S. Washington St. during a child exchange.

Police reports said the Andover woman allegedly hit the Hillsboro woman in the face several times while she was holding her 2-year-old daughter. The toddler was believed to have been struck in the forehead, police said.
