Identity fraud

Jesse Schumacher reported identity theft for a loan worth $300 between 3 p.m. March 15 and 3 p.m. March 28.

Identity fraud

Doris Winsor reported a case of identity fraud of 9 loans worth $2,981 between 3 p.m. Jan. 22 and 3 p.m. Feb. 12.

Hillsboro

Burglary, criminal damage to property

Bradley Vogel, Tabor College music department chair, and Tabor students Lauren Neufeld, Lacey Randolph, and Kaitlyn Rempel, reported a combined estimated loss of $10,000 in musical instruments and other various equipment between noon March 24 and 6 p.m. March 25 from a campus building at 400 S. Jefferson St. The loss included four drum set cymbals, a trombone, three flutes, an oboe, and a JVC CD player.

Theft

Kenneth Koslowsky, 68, Hillsboro, reported the theft of a license plate, valued at $50, from his trailer parked at 301 N. Birch St. between Sept. 1, 2015 and March 31 2016.

Theft

David Witt, 21, Central Lake, Michigan, reported the theft of a wallet, cash, and credit card, with a combined value of $80, between 3:30 p.m. March 24 and 10 a.m. March 26 from a backpack he left in the lobby of a building on campus at Tabor College.

Possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia

Charges are pending against a 21-year-old Tabor College student from Old Modesto, California regarding an incident that occurred in a Tabor College dormitory at 8:44 p.m. March 28.

Police reports said the student was allegedly in possession of 4.84 grams of marijuana, 31 pills of hydrocodone/oxycodone hydrochloride, and possession of drug paraphernalia (scales/papers).

Burglary

Kirsten Turner, 24, Colorado Springs, Colorado, reported the theft of a Samsung laptop computer and Beats brand headphones, with a combined value of $700, between 3:45 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday from a recreation center office at Tabor College.

Theft

Charges are pending against a 24-year-old man from Moundridge after Ampride officials reported the loss of $24 of gas and $5 of food at 7:45 a.m. Friday.
