SHERIFF’S

Domestic battery

Ben Box, 67, Florence, reported that between 5:52 and 6:15 p.m. Sept. 24, Daniel Kyle, 53, Florence, was victim to domestic battery in the 100 block of W. 7th St., Florence. Reporting officer Bronson Shipman indicated the offender was suspected of using alcohol.

Burglary; possession of stolen property

Robert Hartnagel, 51, Florence, was reportedly victim to burglary between 8 a.m. Sept. 14 and 8 a.m. Sept. 15 in the 400 block of Circle Dr., Florence. $82, a cellphone valued at $200, a fluke meter, Power Tools Milwaukee Impact 18v and battery, other various powertools valued at a total of $1,270, and morphine and oxycodone valued at a total of $50 was reportedly taken. Reporting officer Travis Wilson indicated in the report that $26 and the cellphone were recovered Sept. 18, and the fluke meter, and the impact wrench were recovered Sept. 21.

Burglary and criminal damage to property

David Vladislav Scharff, 19, Tonganoxie, reported the theft of televisions, gaming systems, video games, and an iPad, with a combined value of $1,710, from his dorm room at Tabor College sometime between 10 p.m. Sept. 23 and 12 a.m. Sept 24.

Tabor College also reported about $610 of criminal damage to property including a bed mattress, men’s clothing, speakers, and a dorm room window that was damaged by an unknown party when it was forced open with a pry tool.

Possession of marijuana

Lucas Itapa Mattos, 21, Hillsboro, was arrested on suspicion of possession of approximately 1 gram of marijuana at 7:10 p.m. Sept. 26 at 516 S. Wilson St.
