Mike and Jamie Norris of Marion announce the birth of a son, Oliver Charles Norris, at 12:48 p.m. Dec. 29 at Newton Medical Center.

He weighed 6 pounds, 4 ounces and was 19½ inches long.

He is welcomed home by brother Mitchell, 5, and sister Addison, 3.

Dennis and Donna Bernhardt of Marion, Mike and Cathy Cazares of Overland Park, and Charles Norris and Marella Briggs of Mechanicsville, Va., are his grandparents.

Great-grandparents are Don and Susan Berg of Marion and the late Gerry Berg, Ronald and Rosalie Cazares of Overland Park, Catherine Ragland of Richmond, Va., and the late Wilson Ragland, and the late Ravee and Susan Norris.
