P.E. teacher uses drone to film game

During halftime Friday of the football game between Goessel and Centre at Goessel, a unique object appeared at a low level in the sky in front of the stands. It was a drone with lights blinking and a camera attached, much to the delight of fans.

After second-half action began, the drone operator was asked to back it away a bit from the field, and most spectators could no longer see it.

Goessel principal Scott Boden said elementary school physical education teacher Patrick Loganbill owns the drone and received permission to take pictures at the game “as long as he didn’t get too close.”
