LETTERS TO THE EDITOR:   Papers get to southeast Kansas in timely manner

To the editor:

I enjoyed Eric Meyer’s editorial this Feb. 5 issue. We must be living right as we receive your Marion County Record paper pretty much when it should get here. Got the latest issue today — Thursday, Feb. 6 — at Hepler in extreme southeast Kansas about 150 miles away, so not complaining at all of the Postal Service here, and our local post office is only open for several hours each day now. I have been a postage stamp collector for over 66 years now so I am always trying to keep up with them.

Keep up the excellent paper — I was born and raised in Marion county and still take the paper to keep up with all the folks I used to know there.
