Marion Kiwanis Club announced Thursday that this year’s Old Setters’ Day parade will recognize the centennial of the Boy Scouts organization with the theme of “100 years of Scouting.”

The parade will be 11 a.m. Sept. 25, downtown Marion.

Old Settlers’ Day is an annual event when Marion High School graduates return for class reunions.

Marion Kiwanis Club sponsors the event with a meal and games in Central Park following the parade.

This year will mark the 99th year for the event.
