Patricia Linder

Patricia Linder, 76, of Lamar, Colo., died May 11, 2009, at Prowers Medical Center in Lamar.

Born April 30, 1933, in Marion, she was the daughter of Ed and Nettie (Rempel) Rittel.

She attended Marion schools, Southwestern College, Winfield, and was a music teacher.

She married Jimmie E. Linder, and Patricia taught music in Plevna and Langdon until his death. She eventually moved to Colorado.

Her parents and a brother, Richard Rittel, also preceded her.

Survivors include a daughter, Tracy Linder, and a son, Oralee Linder, both of Lamar.

Services were Friday morning at St. Paul Episcopal Church, Lamar, with the Reverend Bernhard Ebert officiating.

A graveside service was Friday afternoon at Langdon Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established with Lamar Area Hospice and may be sent in care of Peacock Funeral Home, 209 S. Fourth, Lamar CO 81052.
