Patricia Zinn

Patricia “Pat” Zinn, 90, formerly of Lost Springs, died March 28, 2009, at Hilltop Manor in Cunningham.

She was a homemaker.

Born Feb. 4, 1919, she was the daughter of Louis H. and Olive J. (Parker) Brosseau.

She was a lifelong member of St. John Catholic Church, Herington, and was a Gold Star Mother for 50 years.

She married Scottie F. Zinn. He preceded her in death Nov. 10, 1988. A brother, Donald Brosseau, two granddaughters, and two great-grandchildren also preceded her.

Survivors include two sons, Joseph A. Zinn of Lost Springs and Donald Zinn of Emporia; three daughters, Barbara E. Cook of Langdon, Becky Lehnherr of Emporia, and Jacque Schlesener of Nixa, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Penwell-Gabel, Herington Chapel.

Services are at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John Catholic Church, Herington, with the Reverend Mark Wesely officiating.

Burial will follow at Lost Springs Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established with the church and may be sent in care of the funeral home, 404 S. Broadway, Herington 67449.
