Patrons celebrated Kansas Day on Jan. 29 with facts and a quiz about Kansas, a round of “You Know You’re a Kansan if …,” and singing of “Home on the Range,” led by Sue Clough accompanied on the piano by Keith Allison.

Mary Hett brought treats Jan. 30 “just because.”

Veterans affairs representative Judy Thompson will be at the center at 11 a.m. Tuesday to answer questions. No appointment is needed.

The center will celebrate Valentines Day with singing and refreshments Feb. 14.

Lent also will begin that day with Ash Wednesday. The center will serve fish that day and on Fridays, but there always will be an alternative to fish.
