Patty Ann Cloe-Polok, 78, of Hope died Friday at Herington Medicalodge.

Born March 29, 1934, at Blakeman in Rawlins County to Frank “Pat” and Bertha Paulson Cloe, she married Bernard “Buddy” Bowles on Sept. 14, 1952. They divorced. She moved to Hope and married Vincent Polok on June 13, 1974. They farmed and operated a backhoe and trenching service. He died in 1998. An infant brother, Edwin Jay, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include daughters Barbara Morton and Linda Ginther of Atwood, stepdaughters Emma Davidson of Hope and Rose Polok of Eudora, stepson Merlin Polok of Waterloo, Iowa, 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services were to be today at St. Phillip’s Catholic Church, Hope.

Memorial funds have been established with St. Phillip’s Cemetery, Hope Community Education Endowment Association, and the Patty Polok Memorial Fund.

Carlson-Becker Funeral Home, Hope, is in charge of arrangements.
