Aug. 22 — Peabody officers performed a U. S. Military records check.

Friday — Police provided a case number for an identity theft investigation. A subject was arrested and will be charged with domestic battery. Officers took a report of vandalism to a vehicle. That case is under investigation. A stolen vehicle from Newton was recovered in Peabody by Peabody officers. The tag on the vehicle also was stolen from another Newton vehicle. Officers assisted Newton Police Officers with the investigation.

Sunday — Police took in some found property. Police took a report of battery that is still under investigation. Officers investigated a report of a runaway juvenile. The juvenile has since been returned home.
